Tradition
Great for: girls, Advanced Readers, Just for Fun
This holiday season I was looking for great gift ideas for my 9 year old daughter. She's an avid reader, but hadn't been drawn into some of the series I read and loved as a child. I picked up this set, along with the Ramona Quimby boxed set and the Complete Set of Fudge. Wonderfully assembled collections of great books that I loved at her age. I was somewhat disappointed that it wasn't a complete collection, but these titles are the most popular.

I found it to be: Touching
Great for: girls
This set was hard to find. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it until I found it on the Scholastic website. I remember having my teacher read it to the class when I was the student.

good service, but need a little Santa help
We received our order quickly and correctly. My only complaint is that this is part of a Christmas gift and "Scholastic" was written on every side of the box. A more discrete box would help this Santa so the kids don't figure out they're getting books for Christmas!!
